Chinese proverb

Chinese proverb, originally uploaded by treknpaddle.

on a white board in the room I was manning a study hall. I’ll have to start using it in wilderness medicine. Hey I just noticed that if you only view this on my blog the quote is incomplete. It should read: The person who says it cannot be done should not interrupt the person doing it. The word not is cut off for some reason, which reverses the quote entirely and makes me look like I’m agreeing with an idiotic notion.

  1. I’ve heard this a little more actively, as “The person who complains that it can’t be done is usually interrupted by the person doing it.” Or something like that. In any case, it’s a good rule to live by.
